This Weekend

Been up to Perth for the rally this weekend.

Travelled up on Friday afternoon in convoy with the big geordie & The Works Team chairman. Arrived at rally HQ/camp site about 18.30hrs, met up with Topaz, Robbo, Custom, Gary, John & Oggie etc. Attended the forum with the rally legends - which was well worthwhile, had a few beers with Big Johnie (who invited us to go to Villareal with him today!) & the Scottish lads, Aled, Northern Bloke, Ken, Taff & Nipper to name a few, then turned in at about 12.30am. Up at 06.30 got the cars parked up for the display.

Loaded up the Sprinter & headed off for special stage 2 with the Topaz, Robbo & the big geordie in the back. Watched the rally with Bobby Love marshalling at corner 1 (with Brett keeping an eye on him) was ****in awesome watching those guys back in the Mk2's :eek:

Back to rally HQ via the pub for some lunch thanks to Topaz where it was ****ing down when me & the big geordie decided to decline Topaz & Robbo's overtures to go into Perth on the lash & **** off home. Arrived back at mine 21.50hrs.

Got up today & dug out the back of the Sprinter - it's final tour as it's been replaced with a new Vito.

Took the car out of the trailer and...........



................ went off out in it for two hours blagging about! ****ing loved it :D

Aye was a good event,walking a good couple of mile to get to a decent spot on stage 2 in the morn was long,but when the escorts stated flying round the action was mint:cool: :cool:
Then onto the racecourse to see the motors and a few of you,some good cars there,only spoke to a couple of you;)
all in all was a good day:cool: :cool:

was a top weekend.
great in the forests, (superbly organised by martin c.)and a good 2 nights on the town with a good crowd. :occasion5:
enjoyed crail today too, and we done a bit of sightseeing in scotland on the way back down.
mex developed a bad oil leak on the way home though, used 4 litres of oil to get home.:eek: cheers to the boys who stopped and helped out. ;)

looking forward to taffs "tip" pics. :whistle:
