I'm looking to buy a new compact digital camera around the £200 mark.

I've narrowed it down to two different models having had a good look around the review sites

Sony cybershot w300

Panasonic lumix TZ5

Just wondering if anyone is using any of these at the moment and could point me in the right direction as I'm not well up on cameras.

Cheers

Jase

I bought a Fuji F50FD 12 megapixels in black about a month ago after doing lots of net detective work and got to say I'm very impressed with it and it's well within your budget :)

I'm very happy with it as the wife has hardly used it:D

just got Ju a Nikon L16 for b/day, simple thing to use ......... £70

(those pics at the steam fair were taken with it)

not much in the way of settings in certain modes, but does an all round job very well for point and shoot stuff

:o oh eck

all im saying is that for a point and shoot, this does the trick :)

dont know what it would be like for moving car stuff etc

and obviously the more ya spend, the more you'll get - best buy a couple of Digital camera magazines to help you on your way
