I know its in the wrong forum but need an answer quick as im just about to put it on ebay...

Is the fog lamp on a mk2 escort specific to the escort or was the same fog light used throughout the ford range? As i have a genuine ford fog lamp from GMS but it has the wrong bracket on it but it is deffo for a mk2 escort , i also have a rs2000 bracket with the light that will be included , but i just need to know how to word the advert i.e "brand new geniune ford rear fog light for a mk2 rs2000" or just " brand new genuine ford rear fog light"

cheers

I'd put Rear fog light for an RS2/Ghia/Capri MK2 etc. So they know the era at least.

Must admit it does look better without .

I only got the light in the first place thinking that mine must have broken and the last owner took it off , never really checked to see if there was any holes for a light

it only has to be on there if they know better, which is sometimes not a lot, they are to busy looking at the car, at my local government centre they did not even ask me to try the damn thing even though there was 2 of the sods fitted???
