MK2 4 Door in Mimosa Yellow!

Hi all,
Picked up a project MK2 4 door in Mimosa Yellow yesterday which had been in an oap's garage for many years. I have asked the question on other forums with much head scratching so mayby you can shed some light. Did Ford UK do this shade of Yellow?

Vehicle reg is PAB 833T, a 1.3L.

P.S. On the slam panel it says Made in South Africa!

There is a seperate plate to the right also on the slam panel which says,

ESC.4.DOOR.1.3L
VJ*****
MIMOSA
TN
