Thanks for your coments .Very little rust in the shell had it dipped for piece of mind just incase we missed any. Try get some pic's now its ecoated for you .

Pleased with the shell however it came home with some nasty dents in the chassie rails and on the roof:mad: :mad: Roof and rails were spot on before????

We paid £695.00 for paint strip :eek:
£795.00 for e-coating :eek: (dont forget the vat on top)

Prices have now gone since we had it done 3months ago.

So some long hours of prep work now before we get some colour on.

Been to the bodyshop today boys doing a good job :) they are only working on it on weekends due to other commitments.It could be sometime before we get it home in colour.:( We dont want it rushed as there has a lot of time and money been spent so far.

im lovin your K&N filter Ashley i have a dgas on mine doesnt run so well with standard airbox do you have the part number
for your filter please

All i can find on the k&n filter box is 57i and a number under a bar code that read's 56-9074

Yes it will when we get it finished?? Next on the list after the rs is to give the ghia a bit of a freshen up getting a bit tatty now then a big resto on dad mexico a busy few years ahead i think?:eek:

Just a bit of a up date for you.. Glass has now been fitted with new rubbers, Just trying to find some good front quarter glass rubbers as the ones we have are fit for the bin:mad: Any help on finding some would be great????:confused:
Spent most of this afternoon/evening waxoiling :eek: OMG what a shitty job... Got more on the garage floor than in the car?? Lets hope thats the end of that job..

If any of you guys can help me find some good front quarter glass rubbers That would be great.:)

Just a quick update for you.

Had a few hours this week sorting the loom out... Used loads of black tape as we had a alarm that needed cutting out:eek: what a nightmare:rolleyes: All in place now just not sure what go's where under dash??:confused: Engine bay/rear bit easy.. Will be asking some of you guys for help on here when it comes to the dash i think;)

Thanks guys some long hrs gone in to this and a few more to go too .... Most parts are all ready to be fitted now it has been a long task cleaning all the old rusty bits up and getting then to look good as new as we want to use as many original bits as poss .

looking at getting the engine and box in this weeknd all being well .will keep you updated.

Feel free to point out any thing that does not look right with the car :o You guys have a better idea then me . All we have to go off is a few pics and this site .

Got everything conected up to the battery tonight just to make sure all lights, switchs, etc are working before puting the dash together .Suprisingly all works :) apart from the wipper washer ???? Any ideas would be great????? :confused: just got in from garage so didnt look in to it to much .it may be somthing simple?

Sorry guys I haven't posted on here for some time now...
Had a few busy months....
Anyway all is good with the resto more so now because we fired her up last night :) surprising started with out to much effort..:eek: just a small fuel leak nothing major. Time to start looking at interior seats,carpet etc...next. also need to have the alloys refurbished your advice on where to send them would be great??

Thanks guys .did ten miles up the road last night drives nice sound horny small oil leak from the diff looks like only a seal needs replacing? Had the tyres fitted today wheel nuts on the way ;)
Also need to sort the ride hight out she's sitting a little high at the mo.

Any one no where the best place to get the pin stripes / rs2000 stickers from???
