S2000 are awesome plus Honda reliability

N/A Cossy - Expensive to get right

XE Vauxhall - (relatively) cheap to get 200+ bhp

Forest calls for smooth continual torque curve through a grippy transmission/tyres

Look for torque and not outright BHP

My engine of choice ??

Well that depends on class entered

1400cc - Rover K series ! Cheap as chips and all ally

2000cc - N/A Cossy

Please dont hang me for backing ROVER as the b******s are making me redundant - lol lol lol

What sort of budget do you have and are you thinking of building it yourself or buying one?
I would recomend a 16v astra or n/a cossie

If you go Rover you can kiss good bye to the budget :clown: Unless you can get head gaskets and bolts at bulk discount.
Shouldnt complain really, there good for business and quick turn around :albino: Pull the motor out of KIA You cant drive 2 at once!!! 400+bhp 2wd and trees at either side!!! :cyclops:

valver cheaper than cossie , stay clear of the zetec's big money and no better than a valver , but if want a cheap engine nowt better than the old transit engine :blackeye: :bounce: :cheese: :clown:
