here it is folks, the Taffr's new resto project
A World War II US tank that was discovered buried under a street at Chartres, in France. The M5 light tank was from the 31st Tank Battalion, part of the 1944 D-Day invasion force.

colour- woodland green
deffo an early gcat, so broadstripe going back on,
anyone got any rs alloys dated 1945, any condition considered
seats may need recovering
bulkhead pad is also mint as its been kept in the dark

Good job "Mr Escort" wasn't doing donuts in that as the grass would have been well ****ed.Would have needed a serious amount of asslicking to the Castle Staff not just a phone call LOL:wink2:

yep a little pee'd off today, the fella said these original 1944 alloys were mint with almost new pirelli's on them, when they turn up they where very rough indeed and the rubber was almost worn to the rim, that was'nt the end of it he said he had 16 alloys but only 13 turned up, ****in gutted, still need some mint recaro's in beige and a dash top, thanks to topaz for the bulkhead pad, nice one

latest on the restro,
new wheels and tracks fitted, cleaned the smokey pipe bit that fires the bombs, and a lick of paint.........................
fitted four Valeo outers (couldnt find originals, have you seen the price on them ?:eek: ), a nice driving mirrror and some towing eyes
