Thank You the Sports section had the largest entry so I was well chuffed when they called out 3rd then when I was half way to the stage they called me for 2nd as well.That really made the oul hands take notice:cheers:

No the floor is like new Laurence not pretty to look at but well coated and covered in finnegans wax.The doors were rotten along the bottom and Ive been informed that he is putting two rear arches on her, the drivers side was showing signs.all that plus the roof skin left very little else to paint hence the full respray.Its been 17 years since I did her so it has stood up well

The car is moving along well ( so Ive been told ). I should get a run down to see the car on Sunday so I'll keep you guys posted and will put up photos when I get them.The engine will be going to Ivor Greenwood to get freshed up new gaskets etc and the head sorted for unleaded.

Aaron the underside I originally done way back in 1991, at that time she was blasted and done in 3m then I just coated all in finnegans wax, I think its got a fresh coat of wax underneath, I want to get the best out of the engine and LSD:whistle: no trailers for me.The engine Im freshening up and sorting the head for unleaded.

Made it myself in photoshop then got a local graphics guy to print it,I just looked at what other dealer stickers looked like and designed what I think would look original

The simple freshen up is now a full rebuild, :eek: I think doing drugs would be cheaper

Ive the retrimmed interior fitted.im well chuffed with the way they turned out as I bought the made up cloth of Aldridge trim and did the rest myself Heres a few repair pics. well folks, i got the car through the MOT this morning, changed the main jets in the 44s which got her through the emissions ok, plus the lights were in danger of blinding Easyjet on the way into Aldergrove but everything else was fine. now to get the misfire sorted and a few miles on the new engine. Thanks Richard, I had smaller main jets that Greenwood had gave me so I stuck them in and took her on up this morning.The girl that tested the car said the emissons were spot on. John
