my first bike was a raleigh chipper which was a mini tomahawk, then i had a chopper with cow horns on.

remember the grifter had a little mudflap you could tuck up on the tyre to make it sound like a motorbike, well almost!!!:o


don't forget the raleigh striker with a pedal back brake, forever asking your dad for a new rear tyre

Got a red tomahawk then a green striker with pedal back brake which was like a single speed mini grifter :cool:

Then when I was about 13 got my first burner........a mag burner - snapped the back axle after about a week doing back hops :D

Always wanted a super tuff burner (the gold laquer frame with black skyways) but money was tight.

Got a aero pro burner in the end in team colours after saving from a couple of paper rounds and was well chuffed :)

They hold a national day of choppers , bmx, grifters etc at Billing Aquadrome in Northampton every year really ace day out and also the American hotrods show is in the next field,there are always choppers for sale
