Saturday - The Golden Oldie (4 door 1600L) received a new 3 part clutch - it's been at least 10 years since I fitted a X-flow clutch - the tunnel is too small even for a type 2 gearbox to go back in easily

It needed a clutch as I'd abused the last one on two separate drifting days at North Weald (good fun but kills standard clutches :D )

A bit of swearing and a helping hand and it was done - out and back in again in about 90 minutes ( I kept stopping to warm up ).

It drives a whole lot better with a new clutch it it, the old cover looked like a vinyl 45 single it was that scored.

Thanks to Mark C (2quick4u) for the new clutch cover ( I only had the friction plate and bearing in stock, and I hoped to get away with just changing them) fortunately Mark had a new Borg and Beck cover on the shelf

Sunday - I picked up some more panels for the "hoard" :D

o/s/f RS2000 wing (genuine and absolutely fantastic as new condition)
n/s 2 door, door skin (genuine)
front panel (genuine)
complete built up front x-member/rad supports/slam panel (genuine)
slam panel (pattern)
bulkhead pad (second hand and split but very useable)

Niiiiiiiice
