well what can i fu***ng say i went to get my car only to turn up to find that the oil pipe for the oil preasure gauge had a leek at the clock end and it gone all over my carpet and there is loads of it
i was checked to see if it was tight and it was but there is a pinhole in it
so i have just taken out the carpet and iam now jet washing it to get the oil out....

Bummer. Really sorry to hear that Paul. Hope you get it sorted. Be very careful power washing the carpet as they are rather old now.......... You are probably best getting a local hydraulics firm to make you a pipe up with the correct ends.
