I don't think it mattered what it went for to be honest, as i think there is certain Ebayers using a software or a setting where it automatically bids above you, this person probably would of payed a lot more for it, it happened to me once.

seen a post on another site about guys using a program called ebay sniper it supposedly puts a bid in at the very last second wether you have your pc on or not.......never used it myself but might start as im the same keep getting outbid at the very last minute, time you see your outbid it's to late to put a bid in

It must work as when i bid at the time i always put a few pence on instead of using whole numbers, e.g say 10.28, i lost the bid to 11.28, the chances of the person placing the same pence as me is pretty slim so yes whatever they use works

Snipers do work, But if you tell the sniper your max bid is £50 you will still loose the auction if someone bids higher be it a proxy bid or a bid placed in the last few seconds.
At the end of the auction the biggest bid will win.

In Waynes case I'd have put my Max bid in with 10 seconds to go, realisticly a second hand BDA manifold must be worth £150 so that's what I would have put as my Max. By the time the man who put £100 in realised he was outbid & tried to place another bid the auction would have ended. Waynes a winner at £102.

By the way Wayne did you get any systems made of that pattern I borrowed you.???

Doesn't sound to bad, I think Keith as got someone in eye to make him a system..... he was going to use the system I borrowed you as a pattern, so if you could drop it in when you are in the area. :thumbright:
