Well I've done it , viewed the car this evening after work , struck the deal and towed it home. What a journey , 11 miles behind my recently bought Golf GTi in a car with no brakes , no lights , off the road for 12 years with my mate driving the Golf like he was qualifying for a GP. Did I mention the rush hour traffic as well..........definately a sufferer of Escortosis as I was more worried about the RS than the Golf.
Got the car home, in the glove box a letter still in the original envelope from the supplying dealer wishing the new owner good look with his 'new' RS2000 , original service book etc plus plenty dust and spiders.
98K on the clock with mot's , needs a good bit doing to it , usual sills , arches , strut tops . First owner 79 - 92 , second owner 92 - tonight.
What do you think.......

I don't mind telling , we all know what they are fetching , I gave the old guy £900 for it , he asked me to step outside while he had a cry and got the paperwork sorted . If I can sell the two good CN36's it will make it a cheaper car........

RUDDY

Interior , needs a good clean but is in 'reasonable' condition , back seat is mint , still has the black soundproofing around the steering shroud and under the dash where the bonnet release is.

i sacrificed my big bike to get my RS, got concerned for my well being in the end, still this is what i gave up.....
