graeme, i know you are into your dorset ditch water, but the black stuff is bloody lovelly and everyone must try it at least once, i used to hate it, but after decades of lager have killed off my taste buds i now love the stuff, and its supposed to taste nicer in ireland, although im not posh enough to tell

treat yersel, just make sure it aint from a can

Had to travel to Ireland on Monday afternoon (with work) and was in Cork for my first Paddys Day and had my first proper drink or should I say drinks of the Black stuff.
Must say how friendly everyone was, young and old and really enjoyed the occasion and the parade in Middleton.
Thanks to Seamus the owner of the Bar I was in who was happy to buy me Pints all night.
