  • My RS1800 Replica

Well my Mk2 Sport started life off as a normal run about, soon the urge for transformation came about and I started hunting for some goodies. A mate said he would help me build a BDA unit seeing as he had all the right bits. That was back in 2005, 3 years later it's on the verge of completion and I'm hoping to fire it up soon.

Along the way I did a few upgrades like fit a double width kit, vented front discs, RS boot spoiler and Ronal 4 Spokes. I also have a set of forest arches that will be fitted once the car goes for respray. Some of the items on my to do list is a LSD unit, 4 link kit and Superlites.

Been way too long since my last update , well sad to say not much has really happened apart from stripping the car down. Decided to rather fix the bodywork and give it new paint so that it all works better. Picking up an engine crane tomorrow so I can remove the engine then the car can go for roll cage and then bodywork. But meanwhile I have been collecting some more goodies, these items came from Rallydesign and look very nice
