why cant we have a dayshift for us to chat to our friends without being discriminated, and why cant our posts count?
i really enjoy and know alot of other people enjoy dayshift so please bring it back!

has it been canned then wayne :eek: :confused: , keeps all the shite talking in one place, keep it , at least you know where to go to have some banter :cool: , some of us have real boring jobs and the day shift thread is all that gets us through the day:rolleyes:
yes its been canned apparently cause somone doesnt like us having banter? just look at all the posts that have been made and the laugh weve had over the last few months!

tbh im in the same boat...even had phone calls saying i write a load of crap on here, love the banter its kept me going somedays, dont really look at post counts tbh

I love the day shift thread as it kept me amused whilst I was off work. Not bothered about the post count as I have too many anyway...LOL. I think it should be kept on the main message board though as that is where it was started and has attracted a lot of attention.
The thing to be careful of though, is where does this all stop??? Once one "Spam" thread is moved then all non-serious escort related threads might all go the same way only leaving the serious stuff on the main message board which could alienate a few people myself included as to me. just talking about escorts all the time is just plain boring to be honest.
One of the main reasons this board has become the success that it has is largely down to the No ego, fun side of this site with the great banter that goes with it. If this were to be removed then this site will be just like a lot of the other car sites out there and left only with the "Anorack brigade"
Lets keep it fun please as we all like and love it for. :3some:

Whay Hallys main concern is his Post Count !
His post count reduced by 1600 when I made the changes to Dayshift and Jokes room
If anyone can justify 1600 inane posts of drivel then carry on but I cant see the reason to take up valuable bandwidth with such threads in a Main Message Area
Its stays in Jokes along with any other similar posts I deem as of course I am the Fun Policeman on here

What is strange ?
ALL users who have any posts in the jokes room will not have any going towards their total post count ?
Its only Hally who is complaining that his pount count has dropped
I can simply remove ALL posts counts if I felt it neccesary but only the spam threads need no longer count
Free Hallys Post - How apt the word free !! Yes this website is FREE but if the bandwidth I have to fund is used up per month with shite and drivel then how can it stay free ?

As Dave has said above.
There is a cost involved which I am happy to help pay for, so if we want to keep the Dayshift/Nightshift/Mallets Mallet going then we may have to contribute. :)
Personally I'd be happy for the post counts to disappear totally if there is another way of recognising long serving / senior members
Thanks for clearing that up dave, surpose when you start talking bandwidth etc and post for no reason thats a different matter, as you say the site is free so cant really complain
