Don't be disheartened - you might not have 'just missed out' by £5. Don't forget the eBay system - the winning bidder might have entered £500 for it and you have to always ask yourself whether you'd have had the balls to do that!
The old advice is the best - decide really what you want to pay, enter it and, if you don't win, console yourself that you weren't prepared to pay more.
