Wow thats a blast from the past, looking though that thread...I saw the Caddy and the Merc in Karachi when I worked in Pakistan about 10yrs ago.

Also saw a rusty knackered Mk2 Consul/Zodiac convertible in Kosovo. Went back one day to get some photos of it and it had gone:mad:. The REME had some workshops down the road I bet it was them that nicked it...:D
