my rs custom

I haven't done lots and can't afford full on resto but heres some pictures of what has been done. when i got it it had capri headlights, just the outer ones and the nose cone was clipped over front panel and held on with nuts and bolts!

it now has s/h cibie lights and nose in correct place with screws and clips it also had white wheels and was standard height, wheels have been changed to polished ones, not originals refurbed, but not sure about black inserts. its now too low 2 inch all round, i have massive speed bumps where i live! but that will be changed soon, it needs tidying up under bonnet which i'll try and do myself!
Started on back bumper a month ago it had gone rusty on edges and when i got it had rubber overriders on it and had gone rusty under them

took ages to rub down and was a pain to remove as fixings all rusty! also t cut back panel as coverd in black dots probably overspray. have painted and re-fitted but too cold and lazy to take more pictures!

Cheers! this is my second mk2 after owning lots of fiestas always wanted one in this colour scheme but would have prefered earlier model! my first mk2 was terracotta with bvr rs replica with 3.1 essex went well but was horrible! spent too much time as a kid watching bodie and doyle thrash about in mk rs! thats why had to be this colour scheme!
