To put a balanced view on this Alminera
Why are police exempt from wearing seatbelts (and I do NOT mean when scrotes are in the back seat) very few police officers in cars wear belts who is police'ing them ?

I agree Paul
Hally in his new role as RSOC regional Group chairman he should really be setting an example to all his little followers
Personally he should assess his position and ultimately resign
If I was still a wanted member of the RSOC BB (not been on there for a while) I would have put a post up to this effect

It doesn't make sense to me either Dave. The only thought that I can think of is for a sharp exit when required. I agree though it doesn't set the best example. But the Law says they are exempt. (Just like Taxi's with passengers and also drivers in vans delivering within short distances.)

Hally when will you learn ?
You committed a crime - No Seatbelt
Copper saw you !
He fines you
Copper gets his bosses closer to their home office targets as your "crime" is now solved
Home Office Targets are based on ALL crimes, petty or major its just easier for the police to concentrate on "soft" targets as they are easy to solve.
Gone are the days of common sense and a telling off as they DO NOT count towards any targets
No need for ID cards in the UK if you are in a car, as the number plate is as good as carrying an ID card - so no escape
