Have been using the Mk1 up to 2 weeks ago......(tax free :D )......but since the sharp frost, grit, rain etc, that's it for the winter. Will be putting my new Cair - O - Port up soon when time allows :o

i am took to years to get it sorted and i couldnt wait till the spring to drive it anyway need to get it more reliable and the only way is to drive it :D

used the rs at the weekend for the bdmc beaver road rally as course car
did same as last year.
the year before that (2005)we competed & upset the moderns & finished 2nd o/a by 1 second ! (must have missed a gear !)
needs a bit of tlc before the next event :smash: :eek:

just reinsured and tax'd mine, the salt puts me off driving it to work as much as I was, havent used it much since the gritters got going, but I'll be taking it down the pub on Sunday and probably having the odd blast over the winter :angel:

Mine will be out on Sunday too; at the same pub I expect ;)

If I'd taken mine off the road it would now be in 1000 pieces, never to be put back together, just like the others :rolleyes:

Mines in bits at the mo:( , but this is the 1st winter it won't be used. I use to use it every day and the best days were the ice and snow ones, less ware and tear on the tyres, diff and gearbox:jumpy:

took mine out sunday for a spin, will manage one or two more before the battery comes out. no gritters down here where its still sunny and warm
