Hello. I have to decide colour for my escort soon, all i know is it will be yellow with mexico-decals. It's originally Daytona-gelb. But i'm not sure wether to go with that one, jasmin-gelb maybe mais-gelb or signal-orange... :rolleyes:

And think the colour is absolutely perfect!! The car itself too i might add!:bow:
Does anyone know what colour this is? Or have pics of Escort's with certain colours?

is signal orange 77 signal amber? mine's signal amber but the sticker in the boot says signal orange.

Does anyone have the paint-code for signal amber? Seems to be difficult to get the right paint without the code... Did the Escort come with signal amber in 76 aswell? I'm trying to get the colour the Escort in this link have: http://bbs.rallyesportescorts.co.uk/...getimage&id=84 so if you know the code i'd be very happy to know! :)

IMO, if it was Daytona from the factory then I'd leave it Daytona.

Daytona being a Mk1 colour and only the early 75-76 MkII's had Mk1 colours and steel heaters and grey wiring loom tape etc, not '79 MY cars
