Not gonna put up all the photos since resto started, anyone interested go to www.scottisholdskoolescorts.co.uk and Restorations and Rebuilds, Strip Down Started to see all previous pics since start. Some of the work might not be up to bufty spec, but between my cousin and myself we have done EVERY bit of work ourselves, and I'm hoping to find a suitable shed/garage/workshop soon so I can paint her myself as well. These pics are of this weekends work, rained Sat so got engine just about finished off ready to fit, had to modify alternator bracket for clearance for uprated unit and make up a long stud mount for it with some extra nuts and washers alowing me some back and forward movement to make sure Poly V Belt lines up perfectly. Today stayed dry, welded up old speaker holes in parcel shelf and slapped some anti-rust primer in rear seat well.

    Enjoy

Finally, all wrapped up for the week.

            Colour

Yep, she's Signal Amber and staying that way, managed to find someone up here who could get the code right. Dingbro/Unipart etc all came back with samples that were Signal Orange, McGregors in Inverness got it right, Signal Orange (Amber 78) is the proper code

                  Completion Date

Originally, was hoping to have her done for the end of last summer (understatement of the year), but all being well, on the road for the end of Feb, to run in and settle down prior to the Lakes Tour with the SOSE guys and gals.

                    Engine

No m8, not Martin C's, 205 blocked motor built specially for me by Eric at JEM, (same place) 2.1 Pinto with matching big valve head, Burton BLF 40/41 cam with head machined to give max lift, nearly 12 to 1 comp ratio I think Eric said, arp bolts, safe to 8k, H and H pre mapped dizzy unit and a brand new pair of 45's ready to go on, Burton Poly V Drive Belt Kit, and an Ashley 2 1/4 system to breathe out through.

                              Engine

Emily, that's how the head comes from Eric at JEM Engines, high temp lacquer to go on once manifolds bolted on.
