View Full Version : On the road again
I am still grinning after my first drive in the RS in 6 years, a wee bit of fine tuning needed but otherwise superb. Twin carbs are just the best sound ever! Big thanks to Big Johnnie for the help, top bloke.

That is absolutely stunning there Ders. Can't wait to see it.
The car will be at some of the RSOC days next year, looking foward to Cumbria as its always a good turnout of MK2`s,
Brian - have not driven the car long enough yet to really test them, but the braking is definately better than m16`s.
Any chance of helping me out with a siggy showing my car...please!

That's an extremely nice car Ders You must be chuffed to f**k. What condition was it before you did the resto??
Chris.
Hi Chris,
the car still has all its original panels, the floor has never seen a welder either. The paint was dull and minor scratches here and there, but that was it. Just got a full paint job inside, out and underneath to make mint.
CheeRS Ders.
would love to see more pics!
Nice one Ders. Top motor! Wish my Mk2 had all it's original panels...infact just one would be nice :blackeye:
