I had an email back from Valeo :(
Sadly they will not do a new run, I even offered them cold hard cash to make a 100+ sets and make sure they were covered, but to no avail the marketing manager said that they make the replacement one without the mounting tabs and gave me the ref number
So if you cant find any originals then the only option is 2nd handers or outer mounting rings with the new inners,
I have sent another option to them and await a response :dontknow:
oh well
well done for trying - "we need do-ers Brian" :D

what this will do is make them more scarce, glad I kept my 2nd set
I have a couple of what I think are inners, in the garage. They say "made in Czechoslovakia" are they correct Bri? The back reflectors are not that good though, but could the glass be put on new back reflectors?

they don't have "Oktavia" written on them anywhere do they ;) :p

nice try that brian, good job i aint got a droop snot car, tho the mex lights are hard to find proper ones
I just been to look, the "Czechoslovakian" are not the same glass pattern, so haven't a clue what they are off. I do have "Cibie" inners with the correct pattern, also "Hella" with a very close pattern to the "Cibies"
Maybe I got mk3 cortina or capri ones as well.
But I still wonder can the correct glasses be put on good reflectors? They look like the are sealed on with a compound

Are RS flat glass or domed? Mk3 Gt cortina are the same size aint they (flat faced glass) not that you can get them either :( just put BMW units in me Mk3 but the locating lugs are missing  is that the bit you are on about (little square lugs in the rear to stop the light turning round) ?

Thanks to Graeme rs2000-gb who sent me some spares a few months ago :) In the meantime, I had e mailed the following chap to see if he could renovate my inners, but I never got a reply. If a few more contacted him, perhaps he would be interested?
