I have just agreed the sale of FEV tonight. I hope I'm still welcome even if I will be owning a Audi quattro very soon. I still have the RS2000 4x4 (skaterish).
I still plan to attend the lakes tour. Maybe I can focus... heheh on photos.
nice one kel hope that itch is now scratched, can't wait to see the audi , pics up soon

Reasons for FEV going.
1. Rally day .... The quattros, I have always had a passion for these cars and as I have been feeling a bit negitive about my intrests seeing the q's again tipped it and a new flame has been lit. Julie (Wife) has even commented about my sudden change since we made this choice)
2. Complete lack of local intrest (not without me trying)
3. Only able to use the car once in a blue moon, the q I would be happy to bring to work for a blast without to much worry.
4. All the bad feeling that was going around has put me off (not blaming anyone).
I hope Fraz reads this as I'm still holding hope of owning DDA one day.
I dont have a q yet but the hunt starts this weekend.
FEV is having its final run tommorrow, we off to Goodwood for Julie's classic car driving day. You may remember all that fuss.
is it coming over the water ?

good luck to you Kel, i have to say i,m a little surprised, i saw you as one of the genuine enthusiasts, hope FEV as gone to a good home, good luck with the FWD thingy;) Question. As far as i,m aware the Quattro has one unique feature over all over cars still to this day, do you know what it is ??????

ooooh i love quattro's,thare is alot of poo ones out there,search & check carefully,parts can be very expensive as can a rebuild like anything else buy the best you can afford,many have a shady past.good luck:D

many parts are now obselete,from Audi main dealers.
we had one in about 5 week's ago,and it was a right shed:(not much rust on it though:) but at the front it was very rusty so just have a look round that area!

Best of luck Kel, Selling a great car to buy a great car, Can't get fairer than that. It might take you some time to find the right one as it did finding FEV, But as you know, the right one is out there somewhere. I love these cars and would also like to own one someday (Along with a 911 RS)
I just hope you don't forget all your friends in the MK2 scene as you would be sadly missed. Best of luck mate You won't be dissapointed. :)

Kev, Julie is having a drive of a 911 RS in about 6 hours at Goodwood. FEV is going out for her final run with us to Goodwood.
