  • Well I have got XER ***T at last!!

Well I have done the deed peeps and bought myself the one 2000 that I have admired for all my RSOC membership and bought Robin Well's Riviera Blue car some of you I am sure know the car and it is now in my garage and been fully cleaned as it has not seen daylight for 7 years and it is my winter project I am hoping to get it on the road for mid to late spring or early summer so I can get out and about with the car and make some new friends etc here are some pics I have still to clean the underside of it and rebuild the engine but loads to do and loads of advice needed so dont be suprised by some stupid questions from yours truly.

looks a cracker, unconvinced on the choice of wheels though

look foreward to seeing another bluey on the circuit

guys thanks for the great comments as for the wheels thay are staying I like em tbh also got 7 RS alloys with 4 Yoko A008's and 3 with Advan A001's.

As for the engine it was 1800 but been bored to exactly 2.0 wire rung lightened balanced and knife edged crank diesel rods cossie de bowled forged pistons 11:1 compression Roland hayes stage 3 HT Head based on a 1.6 head modified to take Motorcycle spark plugs twin 48 webbers burton hill climb cam group 2 3 piece manifold double dowelled flywheel lightend and balanced including clutch mocal oil cooler. Trans X straight cut gear box single piece prop 3:54 to 1 rear diff panhard rod billies all round.

According to Roland it should make 180 to 200bhp at the wheels when set up and run in then it will rev to 8000 rpm but there is loads to do lads tbh got to clean the underside, rebuild engine run it in get some minor bodywork done etc clean up the interior and the list goes on
