For the yellow peril, as the tax runs out at midnight.
I took a drive to the Battlesbridge classic show today, saw Kev (Jaffa) and his car, along with the South East SEOC lads - a good show stand again :)
Autojumble provided very little in the way of Escort bits, ebay has them all now

Ouch  :D :D
I can indeed confirm that Lee drove his car at the lakes tour, as I followed him.
Well when I say followed him, I choked on a cloud of smoke coming out of his exhaust and then overtook him in first gear in my Mk2 :spliff: :spliff: :spliff: :D :D :D

The opposite in fact, as if I'd put 6 months on it I'd have needed to re-tax just before the lakes tour 2008; 2 x £99 = £198, or £180 for the year.
The old girl will need a shakedown run before the tour so why not leave it useable all year round, I may take it out to Goodwood over Christmas/New Year, as there's a classic meet around then ;)
I must have Northen blood in me somewhere to think about saving £18 over a year :p :p :p :p :p :p
yep ! ive just put 6months worth of tax on mine today, was going to stick it on axle stands and clean the underneath and do afew jobs on her,but i remembered thats what i done with my signal orange one,and after the holes appeared in the floor the famous restoration started which i never finished.(you know what i mean rob).
im going to use it now until the road salt goes down.then operation (dont poke it with a screwdriver starts).
rob ! did you notice my s/s janspeed sunday, and do you think it hangs to low ???.good to see you at battlesbridge anyway..
