The Ring !!!

Have thought of a visit but to be honest serious power is order of the day at the ring

Would be a good craic but would deffo be a mobile chicane at that one !

How about a trip to a circuit in the good old land of Guinness instead ?

I'd be happy to help arrange a w/e.

Possibly in 2005.

Some great roads.

Anyone for a hillclimb?

Wouldnt be just good to see a load of old skool driving down going for a blast etc.....

Ireland sounds good to, somewhere Julie would like to visit as well. Tie it in with a Tarmac event. :D

You'd all be most welcome if ye are up for it.

I reckon I'd get a good deal at this point off the ferry operators. I've been a quite regular customer.

Let me know what you'd like to include in a trip.

The locals are friendly and the Guinness is perfect :occasion5:

Wot? Nurburgring too much? Rubbish! Just get linked to the "Youngtimer" scene. They're doing a sprint on the Ring in September, for example. Check out the Youngtimer Cup cars - you might find some familiar makes and models...

Weather would probably be a bit dodgy.

Are you talking about bringing old cars Mk2's etc?

Just wondering.

What I was trying to say (and failing obviously) was that perhaps June would be a better time of year for a trip over here.

September is good too.

Avoid the peak season as ferry prices go mad, as I discovered last month.

I wouldn't drive my mk2 to the U.K. in March. Weather potentailly brutal and no fun.

Camping would be dodgy also. Hotel maybe. BBQ no chance - you'd need the fire for heat.
