hi dave looks like the money pit starting to get a bit deeper :-) did you get your inner wings like that???? ie rails=legs and rad suports already on or have you spot welded them together before fitting? cos ive only seen them bare :oops: looks like it will be good for a few years to come when shes finished 8-) keep up the good work and keep pics coming mate

Decided now to seam weld and strengthen shell as will be tracking car a lot more from now on as well as working class concours.

I got inner wings complete and will be fitting RS strengtheners.
They have then been acid dipped(if only the whole shell would fit in the tank !) and zinc coated they look mint even before being painted.

I am not too worried yet as we have hit good metal and after cleaning up the area the new panels can begin to go on.

More pics soon as whole interior will be removed the weekend.

Engine all timed up.

Gearbox built by DOME Motorsport using Tran-x Straight Cut Close Ratio 4 speed.

LSD Quaiffe ATB Diff built by Dome again using a 4.4 ratio.

Metalwork almost complete in the engine bay.

Gussetted and seam welded.

Have ordered a spit (yeah I know I already paid for it before I saw ad on Parts for sale - lol) and the full length of the chassis rails will be seam welded also when on spit along with 2 x new full outer sills.

Too many hours to put a price on it - my own labour is a labour of love so no cost per hour is accountable !!

I reckon that 300 hours @ £25 pr hour gives you some idea !!!!!
