  • my 1st resto attempt

Well the tax runs out at the end of the month so I have decided to have a go at some restoration work.
Going to start at the front and work towards the back, so in Oct the nosecone is coming off as in the 10yrs I've had the car no bodywork has been done .
Fingers crossed nothing too bad is found, but hey its a escort so bound to end up with a pile of rust on the floor .

Well I have finaly got round to starting, nose cone off 1st

car has been painted in Waxoil sometime in its life, hence why it has lasted so long

Found a couple of tiny rust holes on the O/S/F of the wing. Just need to buy a spotweld drill bit to get the wings off.

Thinking of fitting fibreglass wings, anybody fitted these before?

Original front panel not often seen these days. Good luck with the resto.
