hi, i am a new member to this forum.

i have always been around classic fords since i was a nipper, including capris, cortinas, anglias, transits, ranging up to sierras (cossies aswell), granadas, fiesta. so it made sense for me to get one aswell

i have a 4 door escort mk2 1300 ghia, and is being used as a daily driver, and is slowly but surely having all the little problems sorted on it, so far i have done:
had a respray, as i brought it in primer
just had a new head gasket, the head been skimmed, and generally tidied up the engine bay.
had the floorpan cut out and a new one welded in, along with the bit under the petrol tank, and the spare wheel well, and is now.....i think solid (touchwood)
been rewaxoyled, as it was ziebarted from new and thought it best to top it up a little.

Hi and welcome mate

If you have any questions about mk2's just wait and i am bound to ask it sooner or later , or just go through my posts and your bound to find the answer you want because i think i have asked about everything twice up to now.

if you know anyone that wants a absolute minter of a 2 door 1.3 ghia MKII , no rot anywhere all original panels , 42000 genuine miles etc etc let me know as someone local to me is selling one
