Customs are so last year, what you need is a 'base' ............like mine :D
I will be owner number 3 , been stored since '89 , mouse nest under back seat :o , bit tatty round the edges but generally very very sound , will try and get some ticket on it and use it for a few months , will give me a chance to dig the grinder out ............
Will be posting a list of required parts , firstly a pair of base spec front seats to loose the 70's high backs :refilao:

Is it a black or bitter choc trim Paul ? I may be able to help with the seats if it's choc ;)

Guy sold the steels off the car about 2 weeks ago , at least the dash panel is uncut .........unlike the door cards :refilao:
It is good to be back , and my Volvo had a blow out on the M6 with the RS on the trailer , had to put the space saver on and drive at 50mph for the last 130 miles. Big thanks to Xpack and Oggie for the trailer use again ;)

When i was looking for an RS i knew even less than i do now, and was really looking for a Custom. but happened upon Dave Kings Red Base model. Couldn't turn it down, Have since learned how rare they are with the original spec, ie not been customed. so, am now fighting the urge to replace the steels with Alloys, and keep it as is.
She is now on holiday at a health farm known as Hoarder towers, having a bit of work done she is very pleased my moth ball walet probably won't be.

Have got some alloys but would need attention before they are put on the car. Am finding it difficult to fight the attraction of nice shiny alloys.
