A few questions for you all to start of with :thumbup:

Can anyone tell me about heated front screens for a mk2?? I'm sure I got sent an E-mail ref an offer to this club for them?

What's the biggest/best brakes I can fit under 7*13 RS 4 spokes?

I was going to ask about tyres but seeing as I have spent all tonight going through old threads, I don't need too :occasion9:

the heated screens are available from a few place, which I cant find at the mo

but £240 ouch, Ive have been offered new ones at £140 then you have to do a bit of wiring up told they are a good job !! but are you going out in all weathers that you need one ? or rallying ?

re the brakes as far as I know the biggest under RS 4 spokes are the grp1 vented disks 247mm and something like willwood 4 pots, otherwise you need minilites or something similar to go bigger1 sure I will get corrected soon :geek:

Front screens - I had the same E-mail but can't find it.

Brakes - I use Princess calipers, mintex pads and 247 discs, you can get wilwoods and F3 discs on bells, or AP's etc.

Andy E has AP's on the front of his - they bolt straight to the Escort strut, the F3 disc is mounted on an alloy bell and the disc needed about 1mm off the outside diameter. I think the pads needed a shave to clear the bells too.
