Hi chaps, At last the water has just started to flow through the taps after the floods of last week.:) :) 10 days without a shower, just a strip wash every night with just a very small bowlful of water from the bowser is not very good. Just waiting for the water to heat up then into the shower and I think I may be some time.
Back soon

Hi chaps, Thats the best shower ever so now I don't smell any more(I hope)
Still can't drink the water yet, that could be another 2 weeks we are told,so still getting free bottled water.
As for washing the RS I don't think I am that brave. I think there would have been a public lynching in Cheltenham with me doing the dancing at the end of the rope. However tomorrow is another day and it being 29 years to the day since I took delivery of the old girl I think I will risk it and give her a birthday present. Now we have running water nobody can complain, can they?

Hi Guys thanks for the comments. Lucky for me I wasn't flooded out but I know several people that were so mine is minor inconvenience compared with other poor soles. I am just suffering the aftermath. 1 chap where I work had 2 feet of water in his house, ruined everything it touched. He has now been told it will be at least 6 months before he can move back in so has had to rent another house but at least the insurance company is paying the rent. So as I said mine is minor compared with some.

cant image what thats like being stuck with an RS for that long
;):p:p
You had yours since new then??
It must be like part of the family mustn't it?
Hope they sort the water supply out soon, must be a right 'mare for you.
It may even be an excuse to renew some of the crumbling infrastructure, all those bloody leaking pipes:(
Could do with a few weeks of the sort of sun their getting in southern Europe to dry everything out properly innit:confused:
