The green GOON has nearly reached judgement day.
That is to say Glyn and me have pulled our fingers out at last and sorted it out for an MOT - hopefully it will have a ticket on Monday.
I could be driving it to Ford fair for the next Works Team do !!
I'll get some nice photos of it once it's got all it's wheels on :D

after a 10 hr shift Monday and a 13 hr yesterday from me and Rob, we have got there :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
all finished and bufftied up, ready for the MOT tomorow 8)

not the best set of pics as they were taken on my phone and it was getting dark, but the ole girl's all ready to hit the road for the first time in 6 years 8)

That is an absolutely beautiful looking car. I am so envious. I wouldn't care about driving that car it would be enough for me just to have it in the garage to look at.

We are chuffed to bits with it, be even happier once it's got it's MOT certificate.

looking good lads, a good friend had his green on green rear ended at the weekend :eek:
needs rear qtrs, back panel, rear chassis bent etc, it will live again though :yeah:

We were much younger and had a lot more energy in those days mate, it was easy to restore cars in a fortnight back then

does dave custom charge any extra for posting mot certificates:p
My favourite RS2000 colour. (But I don't much like front spoilers on Mk 1s).
Would look even better with gold minilites.

The wheels have only just been re-furbished, so they are definitely staying put :)

Happy Days that were. The year before we destroyed an alloy bellhousing! That year we cooked the battery and over cooked the alternator. On recent inspection the coolant system was blocked.

Beam test centre in Rainham.(Near to Wag Bennetts)
The last test Dave did for me cost full retail price, as they don't give trade anymore :eek:
Rob its good to see GOO going strong. It will be nice to see the old girl again.
