 aaaarrrrwwwwww shucks lads - lol lol
It would be interesting to see how this BB holds up to over 5000 members (not sure just how many members RSOC BB has).
Very True dave but surely it would be good to at least have all the "Old Skool" guys in here????
Don't know about the rest of you lot but the only pages of the RS BB site I go on, when I can get on it  , are the Old Skool and Mk1 and Mk2 parts.
Lets see how many people we can to come in here instead......
.....now the trick will be getting hold of all the previous topics we had on the RSBB, anyone know how to hack
Plus one other thing.........we got more  :-) :-( :-o :???: 8-)   :tdo13: ......to play with!!!!
Agreed, they're the only 2 i go into also!!!

lol @ comments
Topaz look what you started now !!!!
god knows with they have not changed the link to a page that says "sorry we are experiencing difficulties with the board"
it all looks very amatuerish and unprofessional, i bet scoobynet are laughing at the rsoc
they need to sub it out to a company to run if they cant do it themselves
as far as the dns excuses that are flying about, there are ways around changing the ip of the server without ANY downtime.
have to agree lads......
they're the only pages I check too......
Main message Board is just mainly talk about how their RST series 2 kept up with an Evo/Scooby type thingy..................
Keep up the good work Dave.............
It's good to be a part of the new Old Skool BB............

Hi Dave,
I saw you today and SKC 477T (about 8am) driving through Isham in Northants on the A509. I was driving an articulated lorry travelling in the opposite direction, I put my hand up as soon as I recognised the distinctive numberplate. Your car looked impeccably turned out mate - presumed you swept the appropriate trophy at Santa Pod??
I'm not really into the track scene myself, even though I only live about 5 miles from Santa Pod! Hope all Old-Skoolers had a fine day there though!!!!
Cheers,
Stuart. (ex-EE37)

I got a second to Tony in his red MKII (pre 81 working class)
I have no problem in losing to Tony as he, like me uses his car for more than just shows and even has a caravan in tow during the summer.
Sorry I didnt flash you but I wasnt realy on the look out for fellow RS owners in 7 tonne + lorries - lol lol

Dave,
No of course not, but I was merely stating what a good sight your car makes on the road! I couldn't believe it when I saw an RS 2000 coming towards me.........and those black/silver plates registered quickly as seen on this website.
should rename this thread "general banter"
all that work moving the rsoc bb to better servers
and its still as slow as it was
mk2rstaff
23-04-2003, 17:32
yeh i totally agree with that mate it is still pathetic
If the RS cars were/are as slow as the RSOCBB they'd only be usable as milk floats.
The Scoobynet peeps must be dampening their undercrackers.
why dont they just fnd out where the scooby board is being run and put it there?
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
It's so slow it's silly.
Must be embarrasing for the people in charge.
This site is fine though.

the site is fine but is unmoderated (I know there are mods and admins but noone deletes the crap on the site the forsale section has things on it that have been sold months even years ago :???:
if they moved the site over to oneandone.com they could get it set up right
they need to sub contarct it or employ someone
it needs to be shifted onto servers that can handle the load first and foremost, perhaps multi-homing
