  • Not an Escort but still a Retro Ford

When we bough it, it was reasonably solid whith some nice bits on it so after driving it everyday for a couple of months we decided we should take it off the road and have a few bits done to it
so we gave the car to SMART MOTORSPORT and here's how it is coming along
    here is the shopping list:
    Gaz adjustable front shocks

    Milton top mounts

    Drilled and grooved discs

    Spaxs adjustable rear shocks

    2inch lowering blocks

new brake master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder

So this is what the anglia looked like when Paula got it

and that how it stayed for a while then we put some minilites on.

then came the mini resto  which got bigger and bigger
first up was fitting the rear shocks... as seen in Retro Ford magazine

Then the engine came out to sort out a oil leak and a few other bits and bobs...clutch etc

next up was to fit the new Gaz legs

    Then the brakes

    Engine back in

and the cage has just been fitted as well
next up in an ideal world i would like to fit a rack and pinion and get a nice xflow on side drafts but we will have to wait till we get some more money
Massive thanks to SMART MOTORSPORT 07825 152600 i cannot recomend this company enough

                    I like this
