His car developed a missfire under load on the way from Brook Meadow to Northampton RSOC show
He made his way in the afternoon to Stanford Hall
Between Oggy, Bob and myself he had new plugs, points, condensor, dizzy cap, rotor, coil and plug leads fitted.
Still not cured
Revs lovely in neutral
Try and drive and missfires under load
He was going to "limp" home as he has no recovery cover
Has anyone seen him ?

Hope its not as bad as my missfire last week....
I have a faulty cosworth oil pump which caused number 4 big end to go.
Felt like an electrical missfire and ran smooth at idle....
Mine is looking like a 1500 quid rebuild :(
nice one dingy i love to be cheered up! :o
no GJ still not got to the bottom of it!

An invoice for £50 diagnosis is in the post ;)
I didnt manage to determine the cause (oil pump) but was too deep a noise to be top end IMHO
Hope you get sorted soon
Is it just a set of shells or has it marked the journal ? :(
crank is ok but engine needs a refresh, getting a bit worn out
