I've been asked to find out, does anyone know of any 70's / 80's rallying books that are worth buying.

Its for a present, and the person its for already has a bit of a collection so its making finding something a little difficult.

28 views and no suggestions.

The book is for David Stokes (hopefully not a member on here) as most of you will know during the MN rallying times was well up there with the rest. Something a different would be good.

Anything from the other side of the water worth looking at?

"Night Moves" by David Orrick: the history of the Motoring News / BTRDA Rally Championship in the 70s and 80s.

But expensive these days when in good condition.

"Nineteen to the Dozen" by Eddie Green - the story of the 1969 Motoring News Rally Championship. Chapter One/First event: The Dursley Rally, starting no. 112, Stokes/Jarman, Anglia. (even I had a better seeding than that ...)
