My mate Pete lives in Northland New Zealand and can really drive! He rallies his Mk2 RS1800 on a regular basis and his wife Jill is his co-driver. Now as a rule he drives real well but always right on the limit. So sometimes it goes a little bit wrong on tight bends...

Its good to see Pete still goes hard in the old girl! he also has an ex-works RS1600 that he is busy putting together for competion use. I have only seen it as a shell with engine fitted but that was a while ago now and he has sold his garage to spend more time on his won cars. Watch this space...

Oh yeah, he also coming to stay with me in June. Hope he is gental with my toys!! ;)

im sure ive spoken to peter via mail regarding a couple of cars down there, he sent some car mags over with the 18s featured

Probably him yes. There are a few over in NZ and Pete know just about all of them. Top bloke and knows his stuff. He also has a nice Mk1 Lotus Cortina but that just does the shows or stays in the garage mostly. Looking forward to seeing him again in June!
