i got in my car today and got the trailer on the back to go and get my red mexico from the shot blasters only to get there and find that he has blasted the hole car even the roof inside and outside he has also blasted the 1/4 in and out and the bonet and boot inside and out
and to top it off he has ****ed my mint doors aswell by doing the inside and out aswell
he was told to blast the cars underside and the engine bay and the inside floor pans and around the edges of the windows and door shuts
but no he has done the hole car...theres not a stitch of red paint left anywhere
the roof 1/4 bonet boot and doors are all ****ed now and it looks like the shell is a wright off
i fell so p*ss off now :( ...it looks like i have just lost me mexico

he did hold his hands up for it but i don't know what the outcome will be

Etch and Hi build primer ALL over
Hit it with a Hi-Solid colour
All should be fine
Of course you could always Group 4 it !!

That is just so unbelievably bad. I even felt my stomach churning for you m8.
Start putting the prices of all the Ex-pressed Steel panels you'd need together. Add on the price for cutting out old panels, welding work and, of course, the prep work on the new panels.
Even if that's not the route you'll go down, it should give you at least an impressive and objective £ figure when you start talking to the bloke about what compensation is going to be required.
Good luck.

Just to stop any one else being caught out having your panels ruined by shot blasting, I would highly recomend using a bead blaster instead. Bead blasting uses plastic beads instead of course sand and leaves the panels dead smooth and without any distortion. Also the bare metal wont go rusty.
