Excellent bit of posting the FoMoCo;)
Does anyone know if these stickers were ever fitted at Halewood.
As far as I know these were only used for cars with 2K acrylic paint.
These stickers indicated the German paint maker so I assume that these were not fitted to UK produced cars as they didn't have acrylic finishes:(
Should any paint shop recognise the paint code XSC 632 as black? as i'll be needing that sometime in the future:rolleyes:
Daz
Yep, in the paint charts you've the colour code i.e. Signal Orange '79 O9, the XSCxxx No., and all the other "commercial names" i.e. Platinum Silver/Polar Silver etc etc, um the answer was Yes :D
The XSC code is the manufacturer (Sikkens)
code for the celly paint at the time.
But will still be recognised.
The most important bit is the letter and number,as Rwdrs has put.
