Im searching for an advert for my car back in 1977.

The first owner saw the car XYD 992S a Red RS1800 advertised in the magazine Autosport, this was a weekly magazine.
The car was built in March 1977 and sold early October so between those months the ad would have appeared.

The Dealership of the time was White Brothers of Taunton

so if there any eagle eyed people out there I wouldnt mind a copy etc of the add, Ive seen copies on ebay but too tight to buy nearly a years worth, may have to if this is search isnt successful

Autosport mag 9th June 1977; so if your car was advertised in it you should look for post June edition of the magazine.

I've worked for Whites, but after the Bros had retired, I know some of the fitters that work for what now is Taunton Ford.
