The central groups regional day turned out to be a bit of a wet one but was still a good day out ...well done central group

Also nice to finally meet some of the people off here too ...deepest blue (never did find out your name :geek: ) That is one very fine mk2 you have there, also met paul spence , and nice to meet dave (custom) again .

Hope to meet a few more of you at the cumbria show , you cant miss me im about 6' 8 with hair right down me back :drunken:

As Paul kept telling me - I think I was wasting my time :geek:

Left home @ 04.30 - lashing down all the way there. Rained constantly while we were there, set off back @ 14.30 - lashed down all the way home - what joy!!

On a brighter note however, the Paul Spence 'Quote of the Day' Award goes to the Central Group Organiser we spoke to as we left. Paul asked him 'who won car of the day mate?' to which he replied: ' oh yes, that has all been agreed by the judges - I think it was one of the concours cars!!!
