Bought another Mk2 that is !
I went to look at the car on Saturday, with a view to buying the Nosecone from it (it was being broken up for spares), and on Sunday I went back with my trailer and collected the whole car.
It's a '78 RS2000 custom in diamond white with no sunroof or vinyl.
It needs a sump, bellhousing & fork, flywheel/clutch, exhaust, dash clocks, clock pod and clock, column stalks,carpet and headlamps.
And some welding and a paint.
The worst areas are the front floor pans and the upper bulkhead, but I've certainly fixed a lot worse, and my Harrier is in worse condition even after doing some repairs to it !
The car has a pair of new genuine wings on it and the inners have already been replaced.
I'm quite pleased with my 7th Escort !!
