Is entry without a ticket really that bad.. is it advisable to book a ticket now?

Jolly good, be nice to meet a few of you as I'm a bit isolated down here in the South East.

Alright Rob with the exception of you !!!!

It does seem to me that the majority of 'hard core' Old Skoolers are in the Midlands & North of England though.

Anyway I thought you were still pi$$ed about the CN36's

I'm not one to hold a grudge Arron.

Not over something as insignificant as a few tyres anyway.

I was expecting the beer you promised me at the last Donington show, but that never appeared :occasion5: I reckon you can get a round in on the 4th Mate :jumpy:

arron
04-03-2004, 11:29
No problems, I didn't make the last one as I had the snip and was somewhat incapacitated.

I've bought my ticket for the 4th so I'll be there with your beer and my shopping list.

If you lot are all meeting up at 2.30 I'll be breaking in to your cars nicking the bits you've stashed away :agimp: :agimp:

Only kidding, I'll hopefully still be there by then and I'll try to remember the meet, but I usually get so exited by the shiney parts for sale I forget the time and get carried away haggling for bargains.

Oh and the sound deadening pad is mine I tell you MINE

arron
02-04-2004, 15:38
You would have thought that by now someone would be remanufacturing the bulkhead soundproofing. They'd make a mint.

ive never been to donnington day before will my car be safe ? im a bit worried my cibies will go walking and rs caps or even the whole car how safe is the car park were we park?

GAZ W
02-04-2004, 22:11
The car park seems pretty safe asthere is a security gaurd on the entrance ive left my cossie and rs turbo in there before, but i still would take off the covers off the cibies and the centre caps if you are worried they might go missing

Doh
03-04-2004, 18:07
yeah security is much better now they've put the fence round the parking area as theres effectively only one way in and out :) although last year the security guard err.. woman wasn't paying much attention!

oh and the sound deading pads are all mine :drunken:

Sorry to all that I didn't make the meet - not sure if anyone else did.

For reasons which I won't bore you all with, I got about 1/2 hours kip last night but I decided to go to the show anyway. By the time I had driven for 3 hours to get there and then looked around for a bit it was midday and I was buggered. Decided to go home as opposed to falling asleep at the wheel !

Got a few of the bits I was after (most in fact) with exception to the bulkhead soundproofing. I didn't see any there - good or bad.

Hope you all had a good day out.
