  • started the resto!!!!

ok lads i know this site is for mk2's (but i have one of them as well)...so me thinks its alright to post in this section...

i started the rebuild of my mk1 van....ive more a less stripped her down but still a good few hours work left to do before it leaves my hands & goes to my panel beater/ spraypainter....its gonna be a 6 month jobby & will hopefully have it finished for next summers show season.....

still trying to source parts etc but its proving more difficult than i thought.....can anybody help me parts that i need.....
    1: front doors
    2: wings
    3: rear valance
    4: rear lower sections
    5: rear doors
    6: rear rubber door seals

ill get some pics up next week of my progress so far........

    so the plan is:
1600 stage 2 x-flow engine (hopefully from specialised engines)
    twin 40's
    full stainless steel exhaust
    lowered 2"
7" rs wheels with 195/55/13 semperit tyres
panel & carpet out the rear

thats what i have in mind so far....but as all of you know things change along the way
