my mate had one for 10yrs plus wonder if any one knows its whereabouts

YES THEY PROBABLY DID ,but dont understand why you say its a bufty thing,i thought it would be quite a good subject,weve already had a near match with my AGN 818S and arrons AGN 828S,

Maybe you have a point about number plates anyway - at least it's the only part of an RS which won't rust away into oblivion. (yeah, yeah I know, the glass doesn't rust either!)

Anyway, I can win this hands down - I've had 5 RS and all in Germany and everytime you change your address in Germany you get a new number plate - so there!

MAA 638N White MK1 RS2000 Dunno what happened to that one

TRY 925S Re-Shelled Mexico into a 1600 sport shell. Also signal yellow. Sold to a mate in Newark after I smashed it to bits coming home from Nottingham one early morning! oops!

FHL 860V Venetian Red RS2000 Re-sprayed it black (not one of my wiser moves) after restoring her. Sold to a guy from west Wales who had it stolen.

RUN 200N White MK1 RS2000 Well known car at shows etc. Loved that car. Sold in 2002 to a gentleman from Belgium who intended to turn it into an historic rally car. Not heard much since.

AFG 151S (YUE 477S) Venetian red Mexico on a private plate "AFG" Will return it to original plate hopefully before the summer. Lovelly car just about to have a full re-spray in original red.

Another MKII in the Notts group Kev!! Did the deal with Jules over the weekend, he's not very happy to see her go, but he needs the cash for a group 4 shell that he's turning into a track car.

The Cossie was becoming a liability and i'd been made an offer for it I couldn't refuse. I'd regreted selling DWW last year so when Jules mentioned that he was going to have to sell the Mex, I jumped at it.
