Got the engine back in....

Finally got the engine back in the car today along with the gearbox , crossmember, steering rack, exhaust manifold , and a few other bits and bobs , was loads easier than i thought it would be i thought i would scratch the hell out of the newly painted engine bay , but up to now scratch free , not bad for saying it is the first time ive ever taken an engine out and put it back . all by myself too :cyclops:

Big thanks to wiggy rs (martin) and dingy , and everyone else off here who has helped up to now , no doubt i will be calling on you again before its all back together

GAZ did you put the engine in from the top or bottom?with or without the manifolds?

I put it in from the bottom with just the crossmember and the steering rack attatched to it lifted it up with the crane , jacked up the gearbox , and tightened it all up.
